„I am the good shepherd.
The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. “
John 10:10

DID YOU KNOW?
As a Husband, you are appointed to be your Wife’s faithful and sacrificial good Shepherd.
Jesus was clearly all powerful, yet amazingly He - calling Himself the good Shepherd - considered “the church” more important than himself - and made the ultimate self-sacrifice for her rescue.
Self-serving husbands are an abomination in the eyes of GOD
For centuries or millennia, christian husbands have taken advantage of the false and limited interpretation of their biblical mandate as “head” and “ruler”, using their falsely constructed superiority over women to exploit and suppress them. The ancient Hebrew word poorly translated as “to rule” literally means to “pasture, watch over, feed”. Assuming the role as “ruler” instead of Shepherd has, in fact, only superficially benefitted
men in the flesh - but in the spirit, it has led to men’s inner rotting away and their missing the mark of God’s inherent mandate for a loyal sacrificial shepherd-husband: The central biblical mandate a man has in his life. Unfortunately, women have bought into the same false translations and misinterpretations of biblical marriage instructions, missing their own mark of God’s explicit mandate given to Eve when she was created as
“Ever kenegdo” - their husband’s advocate and divine guide. Often feeling unseen and unrepresented by the strictly male characterization of God, women go along in a seemingly good spirit of obedience, neglecting to advocate for and guide their husband into God-pleasing conduct. This ministry exists to clarify these errors and lead men and women onto the path of mutual fulfillment in a truly biblical marriage.
Husbands are called to do the sacred work of JESUS as wives do the sacred work of GOD by bringing forth the LIFE HE CREATES.
>THIS IS THE BIBLICAL COMMAND:
Husbands are to do the work JESUS Himself did during his time here on Earth: Being a good SHEPHERD to their wives with their children.
>As the flock is entrusted unto Jesus, the wife - his bride - is entrusted by God to the Husband’s sacrificial, unconditional, life-giving provision and protection.

“People receive houses and money from their parents,
but a GOOD WIFE is a GIFT FROM GOD”
Proverbs 19:14
Do you know God is watching over His Gift?
“…But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them. The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep…
I lay down My life for the sheep.”
John 11:10-15

H U S B A N D S

The Chief Shepherd JESUS is the role model for husbands -
while the wife represents the church, His flock, His bride.
GOD himself - in His everlasting perfect wisdom - has revealed in Jesus
how HUSBAND and WIFE can live together in peace:
He must LEAVE his mother and father
He becomes ONE FLESH with his wife, dying to himself
He sacrificially SHEPHERDS her as his flock, his precious bride.
The Bible commands the husband to unconditionally “agape” love his wife
as he does his own body - nourishing and cherishing her as holy and blameless.
The wife is to respect the husband and “allow him to satiate her” - to “be willing to accept his goodness for her” (yes - falsely translated as “submit”), to hear and respond to his requests and needs (as God hears our prayers - falsely translated as “obey”)
and to honor his sacrificial efforts so that the family can flourish.

“In the days when the judges ruled,
there was a famine in the land.”
… And a certain man from Bethlehem in Judah, with his wife and two sons, went to reside in the land of Moab. 2 The man’s name was Elimelech, his wife’s name was Naomi, and the names of his two sons were Mahlon and Chilion.
The Book of Ruth 1:1-5
„And after they had lived in Moab about ten years, 5 both Mahlon and Chilion also died, and Naomi was left without her two sons and without her husband.
How did these three sacrificial husbands die?

“There was a famine in the land”.
They went 70 km away. Into a forbidden and hostile country which had refused to feed Israel on their way out of Egypt.
Moab was a nation that had refused to give the starving people of Israel food, and God had forbidden any Israelite to ever go back there. 70 km away, Moab most likely had a famine, too. We believe that the three husbands died of hunger so that their wives would live.

The CROWN OF GLORY
for the good Shepherd Husband
“…be SHEPHERDS of God's flock that is under your care, watching over them-
> not because you must, but
> because you are willing, as God wants you to be; > not pursuing dishonest gain, but
> eager to serve;
> not lording it over those entrusted to you, but
> being examples to the flock.
“And when the Chief Shepherd appears,
you will receive
the crown of glory
that will never fade away.” 1 Peter 5:1 ff
The bad Shepherds WILL BE DESTROYED
Woe unto the SHEPHERDS ... who feed themselves! Should not the shepherds feed the sheep? You eat the fat, says the Lord... and you clothe yourself with wool, but you feed not the sheep... I myself will be the shepherd of my sheep... the fat and the strong I will destroy.
Ezekiel 34:2 ff

David was the least significant of 11 brothers.
Yet, he was chosen by GOD to be King of Israel.
WHY?
Because David had the courageous and sacrificial heart of a
STRONG GOOD SHEPHERD.
He risked his life to save his sheep and killed lions with his bare hands. He acted in the name of GOD.
“But God told Samuel, “Don’t look at his appearance or how tall he is, because I have rejected Eliab. God does not see as humans see. Humans look at outward appearances, but the Lord looks into the heart.
…So Jesse brought seven more of his sons to Samuel, but Samuel told Jesse, “The Lord has not chosen any of these. Are these all the sons you have? Jesse answered:
“There’s still the youngest one -”
“he is tending the sheep.”
1 Samuel 16:7-11

HE is more Powerful - SHE is more Important
ONE Ministry -
PEACEBUILDING
between MAN & WOMAN
For centuries, the world has spun downwards into conflict and war, with strife, suppression, schemes, and competition having invaded the sacred union of one Man and one Woman - the foundational unit of any society and future generations. Lasting marriage is all but defeated today.
A SECRET CODE in the Bible
The husband is the wife‘s sacrificial SHEPHERD as Jesus shepherds the church, “and laid his life down for her”. The wife is NOT her husband’s lowly helpmate, but God called Eve Adam’s „ezer kenegdo“ – the higher guide (greek: paracleitos) - his rescuing companion, the one who “walks before”.
This is why we have started ONE Ministry. As Men have the power to make women blossom or destroy them, Women also have the power to heal and strengthen or to destroy men.
But one of them will have to start the turnaround to END the present war between men and women leading to mutual destruction.
We believe that biblically, this task was given to women as the softer, more gentle vessel through which the Lord’s strength can work more easily.
While early feminism was justified to gain back basic human rights which had been stripped away from women over the centuries, the post-modern feminists have declared Man the enemy of Woman, leading to an escalation of rivalry and conflict resulting in the incredible overburdening of women around the globe while leaving an ever-larger portion of men under-occupied and obsolete in women’s lives, opening them up to unholy temptations and uselessness.
The good Shepherd husband - who aims to earn the crown of glory from the Chief Shepherd himself - knows this:
God gave HIM more POWER -
but He also gave HER clear PRIORITY.
A husband is charged by the Lord himself to be the good Shepherd of his wife and family. Just like the good Shepherd, he goes out to fight the wolves and lions, risking and sacrificing his life.
MEN and WOMEN have peace with each other where HE is more POWERFUL, but SHE has PRIORITY.
MEN in all their strength are great LEADERS, but they need the GUIDANCE of a godly woman, so WOMEN need to be courageous and dignified instruments of God.
WOMEN as the bearers of the next generation are doing the work of GOD himself by bringing forth and sustaining the human life the LORD creates, that is why WOMEN’s protection & nurturing is MENS‘ divine and most sacred task.
